Lottery entry to the Summer Stargazing event on Wednesday 12 August, for the partial solar eclipse is now closed.  Everyone will be notified by 12:00 (midday) on Monday 27 July as to whether or not they have been allocated places, and those who have received places will then have until 12:00 (midday) on Tuesday 28 July to claim their tickets, before places are reallocated to the waiting list.

We will be streaming an introduction to eclipses, and a live link to our friends at the British Antarctic Survey on the RRS Sir David Attenborough (which should experience totality!), online via Zoom webinar, and we do hope everyone will be able to join us for that: you can sign up here: https://ONLINE-summer_stargazing.eventbrite.co.uk
